My friend Mike Vidoli and I directed another Rock Band video for the Pepsi Rock Band promotion. This one was a blast. Space disco theme set to Earth, Wind, and Fire "Shining Star." Set up a full 12'x20' green screen in the studio. Got to build cool little model ships. Even Mangy, my cat helped out. Check it out!

The Best Rock Band...Band

What a fun summer! Congratulations to my old NYU roommate Luca. He and three friends won the Harrah's/MTV Rock Band National Championship, performing as The Gurnkillers. A professional "fake band" -- they killed it.

Green Teens

Been so busy lately! I was in Los Angeles last week directing a green screen shoot with Vanessa Hudgens, Aly Michalka, and Gaelan Connell for the new movie Bandslam. It will be used to embed the actors in online ads by Avatar Labs for the advertising campaign. It was a great shoot, got to work with some old friends!

My good friend, David Black, an amazing cinematographer and photographer, shot and directed a short film with Daft Punk recently, clouding them up with smoke bombs! I'm putting it together for him. Doing some cool smoke composites and light flares. It's looking pretty good so far. Video up soon!
